| Originally the company is based in Berlin - Germany ( www.albrechtarchitects.com ).
After a number of years the founder Erk Schaffarczyk (architect) and his wife Kathrin (interior designer) decided to move to Beijing and take the challenge to introduce energy saving buildings there. Soon a Hong Kong office started to operate as well, and now, after three successful years, the jump to Taipei has been made.
A new challenge; integrating German methods with the local ones, adapting to the needs of the sub tropical climate and different culture.
